Margaret Horning and Cody Umans created this free store during their five week residency at, El Sur in Mexico City in July 2023. It is made from found fruit boxes in Mexico City. The free store was used and discussed by the residents and staff at El Sur. When the residency was completed, the artists decided that a more sustainable home for the free store would be at Huerto Roma Verde, a guerilla garden bio resilience community in Mexico City.
