2018 - 2019 I painted in oil paint in black and greys. I worked from observation, often painting still life scenes that included black and white photographs or pencil drawings. I learned a lot during this period of painting about value and contrast in painting and drawing. The subjects for these compositions all represent special memories and relationships to the artist.
